Some more of the "and stuff"

If you've read at least 1 or 2 of my blog postings, first of all, thanks! But second, you probably already know that this isn't just an exercise blog.  I purposely call myself "Gabby Rose Runs... and stuff" so I can have the freedom to talk about fashion, crafts, nail polish, you know, other super important things.

So one of my good friends is moving across the country at the end of March and I'm throwing her a "see you again real soon!" party (not a going away party because that's too sad). I love any excuse to throw a party and I'm not ashamed to say that I like to make "events" out of things and have a theme, real invites, and decorations.

Since she'll be traveling a lot over the next year or so, I decided on a vintage travel theme for her party and I mailed out the invitations today!

I bought the stamps from this super sweet Etsy Shop called Pack&Post.  She sent me sets of unused vintage stamps in cute little envelopes each totaling the necessary .46 postage! I had so much fun looking through all the stamps and putting them together. She has a ton of super cute stamp options in her shop that just add such a special touch to cards and invites.

The scalloped edge map circles are from Tanith's Odds and Ends and were another great find.

I've got a few more crafts up my sleeves for this party that I'll post as I do them :)
